Oh Tsuda, it was probably better to be known as the guy that cheated & crapped his pants but now you're adding assault charges to your reputation. Good luck finding a minimum wage job that is willing to accept you. Anyways I don't blame Tojo for freaking out & calling Kitami but the timing really sucks for both of them if Noa figures it all out. Thanks for the translations.

Bro literally went ballistic just to proven his "innocent" & got the painfully stupid price being label as a "poppy pantsy + cheater" boy for the rest of his school year (if only if he'll allowed to attend the school much longer after this incident)

And with Furukawa taking unauthorized selfie with Tojo, i don't think it'll end up much good for her later down the road

Tsuda's punishment was really a clever one. Tarnishing his reputation + his crashout at his school's assembly definitely ruined his chances to get a good recommendation for college.

And looks like Furukawa is next on the list, I was waiting for this one since she is by far the worst bully out of the main targets IMO

Thanks for the chapter.

Furukawa's an interesting one, because it feels like she really just wants acceptance, and to latch onto "the popular/top position" person and ride their coattails.
S'why she was a lackey for Noa, and why she's suddenly so willing to go the distance for Himari; she sees success and power and acclaim, and desires it, even if she can only bask in its proximity and catch the afterglow.
So I actually think she's not intending anything malicious in what she did in this chapter at the aftershow meet-and-greet; just like she thought she was friends with Noa back in school after becoming "the one recording everything", she thinks she's Himari's friend after assisting with turning over all the video & photo stuff, and helping go after the other bullies.

She's clearly not a good person, but she's the one who feels like it wasn't about the bullying, so much as being accepted by the "in-group". She's not inherently malicious, but she's amoral, because it didn't matter who suffered so long as she could feel included and like she had friends. It wasn't even about "not being targeted" with her, like some of the other classmates; it was actively "being valued".

Though thinking back, there's a Chekov's Gun-type plot device in that one "pre-graduation video" that she apparently didn't hand over to Himari, and the way she and Noa were talking, it sounds like something potentially really bad. I have a feeling it'll be a trump card of sorts for Furukawa if she gets targeted by Himari and Kitami next, and could spell trouble for the two of them now that Himari's getting more and more recognition for her idol activities.

10 chapters left though, I believe, and still a lot of stuff to resolve. I'm betting we're getting at least one more death, what with the 'dead idol' foreshadowing, but I'm curious who (and how many), and whether Himari & Kitami will actually both get out of all this alive and intact.

Idk, she looked pretty giddy watching Takei starve to death. Like "opening presents on Christmas morning" giddy.

She's an odd duck, for sure. I'm still trying to pin down her psychology, but she seems like a validation-seeking sadist with no understanding of social dynamics. She seems to think that switching to Tojo's side means that she's automatically forgiven for her part in the bullying. Also, apparently, she lied about not giving Tojo the videos of Kanzaki's bullying, so maybe she was also lying about not handing over the pre-graduation incident video. Even if she's withholding it, she would probably let Tojo talk her into doing so if Tojo plays her cards right... which she doesn't really seem capable of, considering her choice of how and when to accuse their teacher suggests that she's not a great strategist, not to mention how much she struggles to interact with Furukawa face-to-face... but maybe with Kitami coaching, she might pull it off?

As the one comment said, I don't' know why you wouldn't take the call in the restroom. So many series either have the person either in an obvious overhearing area or managing to avoid any overhearing because of plot.
😒

It's a good thing Tsuda broke down in this way or else the revenge scheme might be revealed. Which is not good writing.
😞

One thing I haven't seen mentioned is Tojo's reaction to the girl. If Tojo is leading these meetings her reaction shouldn't have been like this, don't you think?

I think she might moreso be an attention seeker full stop. I think she enjoys the suffering of the other bullies only because in her mind it strengthens her positions as the top-dog's "friend." Same reason why she forced a selfie with Tojo. She is willing to do whatever it takes to be the powerful one's lackey, thinking it will make her powerful by association.

She is the corporate yes-man who tries to play golf with the CEO whenever he can and imposes the CEO's rules beyond their scope with an iron fist.

That would seem to be the simplest and most likely explanation. Here's a darker take:

It's not that Furukawa is trying to earn Tojo's forgiveness; Furukawa doesn't understand that Tojo is carrying resentment at all. To Furukawa, cruelty is fun, and having fun is the privilege of the popular at the expense of the unpopular. There's nothing to get angry about; it's just survival of the fittest... the natural order. So Tojo isn't taking revenge; she's just enjoying her turn to have fun. This is why Furukawa is so fixated on ingratiating herself to the most popular person in reach: she wants to always be one of the people having fun.
