It's health related. The mangaka had been struggling and put the series on biweekly hoping that the reduced workload would let them recover but sadly that didn't work. They put the series on hiatus to focus on recovery. I don't know how they're doing but hopefully the recovery is going well.

Sometimes I think that being mangaka is the most dangerous job on the planet
