reminder that it's been about 10 months, chapter 143 since Akutsu learned he loved her and the useless fool to be her boyfriend. Almost 30 episodes of pure edging. It's has been cursed in this infinite edging state until this gets cancelled while the characters get more and more dumb.

Even if you view this as a standard rom-com, rather than what it really is which is a gag manga about two people who can't get together, it's still short. Tbh, I never read or watched those. I only know tiny bits of Nagatoro and Takagi, only heard of Kubo won't let me be a mob and don't even know what Cecilia is....so I won't make comparisons, but in my opinion, even tho the chapters are only 6-7 pages and there are other similar stories, it doesn't justify how this author is handling his story...from a reader prospective.
It's been quite a few chapters that every bit of romance progress get shrugged off as "joking"...it's not even "gag manga" funny (and, i personally never considered this a gag manga, but that's me and could be my mistake).
