I also like how although he doesn’t want to stand out too much, if he can do it, and if he HAS to do it, then he will. WHICH IS AWESOME!! Like he literally cut off that noble’s ear and was all mad when he heard the guy would do something bad to Elicia who was his friend. The guy seems dense and emotionless but from his spat with Wlicia earlier he actually seems good at picking up the other side’s intentions(which make sense since that is something required in the battlefield)
