For the king, I don't remember if it's being cut from the manga or it's something that'll come up later, but he's aware that his eldest daughter is being influenced by the Cult, so he basically telling Alexa to try to approach Shadow Garden. By doing so, whoever comes out as the winner in the end, the country will still be exist through either of his daughter.

The king is not dumb, he's aware a lot of things, he's just being super careful since he's against a very powerful organization. The only known thing he did against them is when he secured the Oriana King's corpse and sending it to the royalist faction, rather than sending it to the most prominent faction at the time, Duke Doem's Faction. (Oriana king was his friend, he knew he was brainwashed and saw his condition as a reminder what will happen to him if he's acting against them recklessly)

No shit hes the guy called jack the ripper in isekai land
Youd think the manga is keeping the reveal for later and wouldnt just reveal its hand in a random info box
Lmao this is that kind of dumb gag manga, I think the biggest reveal to ever happen would be that Cid is actually OP to his sister, or that Shadow Garden is not a chuuni group

On 1 hand, comedy is great as always.
On another hand, wtf is this shit Mangaka? Mangaka cut 94% of King Midgar's dialogues. It's what fricking makes this arc good. It's a reminder from author that it's not all about the crazy bastard Cid Kagenou, other people exist too, about the consequences of his actions.
This is the first time this manga disappoints me. I won't be buying this vol when it comes out in my country.

"Jack the ripper is one of the most famoust figure in history known for being a mysterious serial killer in England, 1888."

"Nah, he's a himbo"

"What?"

"What?"
I never understand why a random serial killer ended up so damn infamous across the world.

Thanks for the TL!

Man, call me unsophisticated but I don't think I'll ever change my opinion about the anime--I think it should have taken the manga's tone in telling the story instead of the LN's supposedly more play-it-straight edgy edgelord approach.

Either that, or whoever's doing the TL for this is freaking outstanding and makes me wish the anime had this translated version's tone in it.
