On 1 hand, comedy is great as always.
On another hand, wtf is this shit Mangaka? Mangaka cut 94% of King Midgar's dialogues. It's what fricking makes this arc good. It's a reminder from author that it's not all about the crazy bastard Cid Kagenou, other people exist too, about the consequences of his actions.
This is the first time this manga disappoints me. I won't be buying this vol when it comes out in my country.

Especially in light that there nowhere to go after this arc ends. There no new LN volume in sight.

Dude, he went for the most basic of cyphers and even then he had to explain it to them, we are not dealing with top minds here.

Yeah, I'm almost completely convinced the MC is the clown. I was hoping it was gonna be a twist, and be the obviously crazy girl, but I don't think so. Unless the plot pulls a massive 180 and does a huge red herring, its almost definitely Cid.
I think I made a bet a few chapters back saying I'd eat my shorts or something if it turned out to be Cid. I guess I better start cooking my shorts 😭

My dude, they have not been hiding it lol. He's always conveniently understood the cyphers, JTR only shows up when he disappears, and at the start of the arc he literally implied he was out to kill the Nightblades. It has been blindingly obvious this whole time

it's still up in the air if he's the clown, Cid finds the idea of fucking with the clown fun which can either be a "come catch me" or he genuinely hasn't considered the clown to be anything of note until he witnessed what happened that night and went "it'll be fun to let him run around"
