I had to google chapter 77 + the manga name just to find it. You’re right it’s only showing up to like chapter 45 if you use the search bar.

It's a site rule, if a translator group has blocked non-members from uploading their work, you cannot create/use a different name to bypass the restriction.

It's not a problem about who uploads, it's a problem with following the rules for uploading.

Politely, it's a dumb rule than. Why have rules that pointlessly constrain what people can do and that serve no advantage to anyone? And, why follow them?

If the rule is that people can't upload to a group name that has blocked uploads, those less respectful of the TL group will just steal their uploads and upload them with their own name. At least with proper attribution people know which defunct group did the work.

Look man, all I can say is if you don't like how the site is run there are plenty of alternatives to visit instead. The rules are what keeps this site in line and running relatively smoothly, as opposed to the other "anything goes" aggregators. As long as we have an account here we're agreeing to follow them.

They were uploading their translations on other sites, I think. Mangafire.to & Bato.to (currently going through problems).
So even if they're not uploading, they're still translating, just not on MangaDex.

then some people will realize it was stolen and point it out, like what happened with phillia scans ot whatever, leading to them getting banned. mangadex is a site made more for scanlators than readers, hence having rules that benefit the scanlators (such as respecting their choice of upload location)

This is not, and has never been true as long as the group isn't locked. And if it was locked, you wouldn't be able to upload it under their name in the first place.

Edit: I didn't realize at first that the poster uploaded it under a misspelled group name to avoid group lock, so yeah, this is blatantly against the rules and should be removed. But I'm not sure the mods are even reading reports anymore, I've made a few regarding wrong group uploads and other problems over the past month and none of them have been processed yet.

I submitted an inactivity report for Biamam earlier, so the group should be unlocked in the near future. I would hold off on uploading anything else from them until then.

You should still be prepared for a slap from the mods since you did break the rule though.

No activity on MD doesn't mean they're inactive. According to the MD rules, the group needs to be inactive across all platforms (no new chapter releases anywhere) to be unlocked here.
