I honestly prefer the official translation of ¨Tuna King", but I do agree McRonald makes a lot of sense in this regard. It shows better that Cid did base the name off of his own world.

Because it means you lose a lot of money if you can't sell it, and betting on nobles buying from you when you're not an established brand yet is a huge gamble.

I read the chapter. How does them wanting to sell to nobles negate my point about a product with a big upfront cost being a risky gamble when you're not an established brand among nobles yet?

Because nobles don't by cheap stuff, like I already said, the nobility wouldn't go for it if it's something the poors can afford, I already said all this I don't know why you're asking me to say it again. The upfront cost is something you just have to deal with if that's the market you're aiming for. They won't buy it otherwise, if that's a problem then aim for a different demographic.

Yes, I played with both options and picked the McRonalds one thinking more people would get the reference. In the official manga I did see that they opened 2 chains: McRonalds and Tuna King and while Tuna King was the first one it just didn't fit well when I translated and typed this up. Good call out though!
