i dont get it. the Light novel and Anime is so good and anime is good at doing a separate interception. But manga totally butchers it all even though it has its own interception as well.

The manga is way funnier than the anime at least. I've seen people watch a scene and not realize it was supposed to be a joke. Anime joke delivery has a lot of misses.

The thing about I notice in the anime Cid didn't yap non-stop like in the manga, and I believe the way they did in the anime was to fit all of the story while not taking whole 20 or so minutes for it to make sense. They did an excellent job fitting the plot with limited time in the anime.
