She realizes that all the time she had been following her family, be it in marriage or life, but decided on her own that even if she had no other choice, she could love him, but shit changed when she was cast out from society for getting a disease, eg her now threatening comes after she was kicked out and abused and this was a flashback from her life before (and shadow isn't someone she is openly wanting to fuck, but more of someone who literally fights Satan in this universe and therefore is much more important than her past emotional connection)

But beyond that I don't really understand much else of what you said sadly

When I wrote that, I wasn't aware of the girls background story (anymore). Thank you for tying those knots. I try to re-post my last post in a more readable way:
I'm feeling sorry for that guy, that has been slashed. While he still didn't get cucked by the MC, his ex-fiance already did get ntr'd away from him by that edgelord. To add shame to insult, that edgelord himself doesn't even know, that he did this deed. Well, as she wasn't even in love with him to begin with, we can't even call it really ntr. Yet I have to say: "Damn. This is harsh." She went from "I'm going to marry that guy, I guess." and "I'll try to talk myself into loving him, so we can become happy together." to "I'LL FUCKING MURDER YOU, if you pose a threat to the guy, I adore right now." That's so sad and I feel bad for him. Poor dude. 🤣

Welp, on the other hand, (if he survives) he can be glad to have dodged that bullet. (I'm talking about the marriage to that girl.) Think about it. MC simply introduced the concept of edge-chunism to this world. And that's it. It has been those chicks (including the ex-fiance), that jumped and leeched themselves at this way of living. Those girls, no matter how capable they did become by training under the guidance of MC, are also a bit crazy.

But yeah I'd disagree with the ntr piece because ntr requires the person being cucked to want their wife.

He didn't dodge a bullet, this girl got the diablos curse and was instantly cast from not only her own family who she had blindly followed but the world as well, and had been saved by shadow entirely accidentally since he thinks his followers are fucking with him and playing pretend. She was cast from a noble house to being less than a slave, picked up and told to kill Satan, no shit she's gonna change and be willing to kill to keep shit secret. But yeah I do see what you meant, but I think had she not been cursed she wouldn't have ever been a yandere murderer, it's sorta peasant and pauper style, cast into anothers shoes you must learn to walk again
