The comedy is great but two consecutive arc of nice guy being secretly evil? Really? Could we have an actual good parental figure for once?
The older knight guy seem great but he kick the bucket too early.

The fact the smart research girl couldn't figure out her adopted dad was evil despite him wearing one of the fake cloaks the terrorists had on is kind of dumb. I mean she wouldn't have known how bad he was but he was obviously working with the terrorist group.

@dkdumpling he was wearing the same clothes as those terrorists who attacked the school and he still has the artifact with him both parts somewhere on him so it should really be putting 1+1 together to see what is going on.

@RUD3DUD3 And what reason does she have to listen to him or believe him? People who just had their loved one murdered won't want to listen to the person who killed them. It's a pretty heavy thing for someone and I doubt she would even be able to understand the situation if he explained it to her. She literally has no reason to believe him and even if the artifacts were there she would probably try to make up any excuse to not have to accept the cruel truth.

Why would he explain the situation to her? That would just bring even more pain to her, if she even believed it, which like dkdumpling said she probably wouldn't. Living in lie is sometimes better than knowing the truth. And anyway, MC is not some hero but self-proclaimed shadow eminence lol, he is perfectly capable of shouldering the burden of being hated by her for killing her frail loving father.

"You don't need to know anything" the man speaks from extensive personal experience. He's lived his life retaining exactly zero information and look where it's gotten him.

I hate how she's smart, but also extremely stupid. you can clearly tell by his attire that he was part of the fake shadow garden. sure she might've been overcome by grief to cant accept it, but still
