Hopefully they'll go with the Light Novel's character designs. Too much potential there paired along to contrast with the comedy. I mean just look at that.

Maybe a dark humor kind of vibe?
Got to say, it'll be interesting how they'll deal with the internal dialogue of Cid's antics. It'll probably depend on that if the anime will flop or not.
