goofy ass manga that revolves around the whole "misunderstands that end up real" trope which is probably one of the most bottom of the barrel tropes. truly up there with "herbivore moron romance mc" . gets a couple of points for having a sense of humor about it so 3/10

i think what a lot of these losers who complain about repeated tropes forget is who our MC is, they taking this too seriously and thats why they think its not fun
whether the manga is supposed to be serious or a goofy parody of the genre is irrelevant, if you start recycling the same stuff again and again it becomes shit.

It was fun at first, now we realise the plot isn't really going anywhere.

Just like the hundreds before me have said so.

Well, the slow pacing and upload doesn't really help.

Yo just wanted to tell Oogis_Boogis that I really appreciate you translating the missing English chapters from Spanish. I honestly think you’re doing a way better job than the guys who were originally translating the chapters from Japanese to English. I don’t know if you’ll see this, but I appreciate you man!

Lacking in clarity. I reluctantly rate this manga as high as 7/10.

Eminence in Shadows is about a dude who just really likes pretending to be a shadowy mastermind.
And after he reincarnates into a fantasy world, where he can realize his dreams, he pretends harder.

Like, he does master magic to an unheard-of degree, and he does create an organization of badasses fighting a global threat (by accident) but it's all a byproduct of his deeply chuuni need to pretend to be the master of a shadowy organization who knows everything, rather than any drive to become an actual master of an actual shadowy organization who actually knows everything.

As far as I can tell, he just constantly makes up cool things to say in the LARP he assumes they're all playing together, and the main gag of the manga is that it all coincidentally happens to be true, and everybody else treats it 100% seriously.
But that's not good enough for me, because a comedy of mistakes requires, like, a feasible way for the characters to come to their mistaken conclusions. And I'm not sure if it's faulty translation at work or something, but there's no way a sane MC could come to the conclusions the MC does.

IMO, a MC that can't tell the difference between his delusions and reality is just sad.

I get that if this kind of thing isn't for you, but the point is literally that the MC is not sane. I mean, would a normal sane person genuinely try to plan how to beat a nuclear bomb? While they are on normal planet Earth, and also do all his crazy training stuff, SERIOUSLY, and in (his) REAL LIFE where his ideas are a genuine goal? I think not.
But you are entitled to have your own opinions on the story...
(but as a massive fan of the series, I can't help but be mad...)

I never understood why this manga is so popular. I've read 62 chapters but, there's a moment when you have to face the truth, and I reached mine here: I don't like it. It's not funny, it's not interesting, it's repetitive, the characters aren't endearing or whatever. For me, this manga is a 6/10, or maybe a 6,5/10 at most. I guess the art is good though.

It's an isekai with an OP MC, but here the MC is a massive chuuni and all the BS he says always ends up being true. And that's all, that's the manga. Everything else is like what you can found in your run-of-the-mill isekai, OP MC goes brrrrr.

The last chapter I read, 62nd, I skipped almost all the dialogues. It was just bland. Then I go the comment section and everybody is like "I love this manga!", "Eta, I love you!", etc. And I'm like, what the heck is going on here. It feels like I'm lost in the Twilight Zone.

Anyway, have fun here. I'm out.
