well its better than the novel because the conversations and interactions feel more dynamic i dont know if thats the translators fault but the novel is boring as f. not because the story is boring but its written like a observation report or a wiki entry

as for her engagement... well she has a bad hand... nobles cant just break engagements with their royal family or they face execution be it by law or the faction behind the prince and when the engagement is thought if as an annoyance they might be executed under false charges because that spares the prince from having to break the engagement

in surviving as the heroes wife there was a very fitting sentence about it... when you get engaged to a royal you either become the queen dowager or face confinement and death

of course, if not because the mc got reincarnated inside celistina, she would become a villainess like the game story. but I think the author isn't focusing on breaking the destruction flag like other villainess manga do.

I've only read the English scans but I'm really liking the story so far. I really hope someone picks it up and releases more chapters.

Usually villainess stories go on about how the character suddenly find themselves having to deal with having behaved like a villainess already or are in a situation where people see them as the villain already. But here they skip making amends and feelings of guilt, and it's quickly shown the "villainess" has been putting in the effort to do what is expected of her as a future royal aside from socializing. She actually likes the prince and is hurt seeing she's on the path to be tossed aside, but she's also focused on making a place to belong after the bad end. So it's like there are two parallel tracks going on. Plus there's a lot of nuance going on so it's very interesting.

The English scans stop just as it's starting to build up so I really wish to see a few more chapters if only to know which way the plot is heading.
