Nah he got plot amour thicker then a 90s phone book, till these two fight it out with their throbbing demons swords fully unleashed neither will die. That blood tasting girl will probably save him in 2-3 chapters after the incoming traumatic flashback. I’m guessing atleast 1-2 more minor conflict between these two before we get the real showdown.

Hmm... I told someone to give author a chance and see if Iori's skill is going too far for sealed memory... This is getting up there for me...

And yeah, I think I saw Hirohiko's head flying there; if author gives me crap like Chihiro observes Iori's technique that isn't direct to kill and decide not to kill, and all head flying was mental image Hirohiko receives... I might consider dropping too...

Maybe it's because, unlike them, there is no magic we can use to boost our stats. They do outright say they're using spiritual energy to help boost the speed.

Yes, using spiritual energy to boost, that's great. Making it rotate so the blade starts facing you then let it go and grip it again when it's facing them is so ridiculous, can't suspend my disbelief this much without an actual explanation of how/why it makes it faster doing this very VERY specific action lol
