For those who didn't understand, she was ready give up one of the charms(gazing eyes) she loved in him. The reason being he wanted him to be healthy.
She lied that she felt new baby eyes(non-sleep deprived) looks better. She could have easily said the opposite if she was selfish. Instead, she choose his health over her interests.
