Back in the old days, when I binged this, I thought that it seemed familiar.
And even with the obvious namedrop, for some reason, I didn't make the connection.
And I went through the entire manga without making the connection to Ryukishi until the climax of the final chapter.
Only then it just hit, and it was the weirdest feeling of just joining the dots.
What a nice reread.
