This is a little bit different from the novel.

In the novel he decided to drug because he wanted to test how the newly made drug will work and since she’s a demon she has a high vitality and she will be able to withstand the effects without dying.

After he used the drug on her and raped her she broke mentally after tasting so much pleasure thus even though he healed her her mind is still somewhat broken and can’t talk very well (his ability can’t heal mental problems).

Then he sent her back to her organization to use her to his advantage ( you could she became his puppet).

Edit: I forgot to add that he decided to not use the drug as is because it’s too strong and would break the target and he would have to dilute it to be used safely.

Also these are not spoilers all these are skipped details that should have been mentioned in this chapter.

I checked the Raw to be sure, and only the name Eve has been mentionned in this chapter (actually, it's written as "イヴ"), no surname.

Then I checked some chapter before that and saw the mistake began at the end of chapter 19.1 as Iblis as the whole name.

Though since there's a dot in "イヴ・リース", it should have been a separate name.
