Story time: Several years ago I drove past a place with Dodge Ram pickup truck in the roof (and police tape around the scene). How did it get there? There was a stepped flower feature that made for a bumpy ramp, and the driver drove at speeds enough to use it to jump the 50 foot gap into the building's roof from the ground level.
The passenger was killed and the driver is in jail. The flower feature was removed by the end of the week.
Horribly sad story, but a stock Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck going fast enough to use (10 foot tall and 45 degrees) stairs as a ramp to clear a 50 foot gap is incredible for several reasons (how did the truck not break apart and lose its energy, how did it go fast enough with a non-performance engine, how did the truck not stop at the flower feature due to how steep it was)?
It was such a bizzare thing to witness the aftermath of, and got barely any news coverage. Anyway, to make this all a bit lighter: proof you don't need a monster to put a car there.
