i knew kaijus came from the past, at least 100 years, but to be in the samurai era is just... dumb
having no predators and no equals in fighting strength the kaijus would have wiped out humanity long, long ago, specially if we speculate to "numbers" tier of monster existing already

im sure next chapter were going to get something like number's 8 origin being the monster to kill all monsters and humanity was saved thanks to the efforts of many "descendants" of it... automatically making Kafka the most op person in universe
or something better (tho i doubt it) but im for sure not gonna wait for it, im out

This kinda reminds me of the antagonist from Ushio & Tora. It was a youkai that was also formed because of people's dark emotions.

Honestly? I think the answer is already in front of us the whole time

Kafka's body is the answer. Dude's fortitude level is low af to the point where he can't even use power suit properly and in the world where most of humanity adapted to be able to use armors and weapons made out of monster's organs?

That says a lot, so we can imagine kafka's body as a vessel that hasn't been broken or contaminated by the monster materials and such vessel is perfect to be broken and molded into something else, something monstrous and capable of killing other kaijuu

But hey that's just a theory
