but im done, the series lost me with this chapter, its so fcking mongoloid
i knew kaijus came from the past, at least 100 years, but to be in the samurai era is just... dumb
having no predators and no equals in fighting strength the kaijus would have wiped out humanity long, long ago, specially if we speculate to "numbers" tier of monster existing already

im sure next chapter were going to get something like number's 8 origin being the monster to kill all monsters and humanity was saved thanks to the efforts of many "descendants" of it... automatically making Kafka the most op person in universe
or something better (tho i doubt it) but im for sure not gonna wait for it, im out

I disagree, it was always implied that kaijus have been around since forever, and we already knew about this one appearing in the samurai era, so I don't know why you're so impressed now

im sure you know exactly which chapter mentions exactly when kaijus appeared... somehow

i know about this "armor" that has been appearing before Kafka several times, now we know its probably a manifestation of previous "users" of number #8 and that the Hoshina family has a history slaying monsters for the goverment, that doesnt exactly explain HOW humanity has survived, one swing of an arm from this monster, which we can assume is just riffraff, and everyone is dead
just imagine a monster on the tier of the numbers


its just... such a surface level plotpoint its boring, and the more you think about it, the worst it gets
but hey, they can always remedy it, it just felt like it was meant to be this amazing reveal and im just like "okay?"

i was already struggling keeping interest after Mina being eaten for 5 months, or this number #9 fight that feels like it has been going on for 2 years, im kinda just done, but you do you if you enjoy it

So the parasite is basically the collective hatred and resenment of all of those samurais that gave their life to try and kill the Kaijus, only to have that one Kaiju kill them all. And that parasite probably had waited for an inheritor to carry on the revenge.

Kudos to the author for not forgetting about the ghost samurai. Too bad the fucking thing was introduced back when mangas were carved on stones and only now is it brought up again at the arse end of the story with jack in between. At least I hope it's the arse end of the story because Lord have mercy if this is just the halfway point and Kaiju 9 UltraMax S Pro+ shows up next.
