I doubt it just based on Furuka’s arm. She clearly lost it, and it’s growing back, but not fully, yet. Too convenient to blindly accept it as reality, but not convenient enough for a dream.

True, but based on the art of the chapter it was difficult to say whenever it was a fully grown arm or in the process of it, at least she can hold a plate with her left hand! It was my first guess after starting the chapter, but I hope against the theory that they are now living inside the consciousness of the monster.

If we go with the assumption that Kon was part of the monster all along.

I've had the same idea for some time but upon second reread there are some things that stood against it.

What happens next is complicated. It didn’t seem like she had any attachments to the outside world but can she continue to live like this knowing where she is and who Kon is? How independent is Kon, and does she and the monster want different things for, and from, Furuka? Then, there’s auntie and how she reacts to what she saw happen to Furuka. What’s her next course of action? Will she walk away, try to get Furuka back, or seek revenge?

This is the most interesting part!

Can only wish author good health to release chapters before global internet goes out or something.

Furuka wasn't the bully. The bully was the girl that Kon "sent flying" at the beginning who was supposedly "badly hurt", but then suddenly was fine and crushing hard on Furuka. This manga does take too long between chapters and the art style doesn't really help to avoid that kind of confusion.

Welp
I wonder if what she is "living"/seeing isn't a hallucination the monster showed her and Kon isn't even there. I mean, it's very typical to be tricked by the "bad monster" in thinking you are living happily ever after while in truth you are being consumed/eaten and then something goes wrong so you can snap out of it and fight to get back to reality.
Well, just a theory really.
Now to wait four long months
