I was bored and had nothing to do, so I decided to work on this since Volume 21’s release is still a month away. As always, consider donating for faster releases, or if any of you would like to commission something, just visit my Ko-fi page.

I decided to check the update tab and voila, updated 12 mins ago, thanks for the tl as usual.
Man, can't even use radio to tell the coord, they rly are back to ww1 era of shelling. What a crazy monster, though it seems like whiskers' area is a bit thinner, but good luck noticing that that far out, not to mention trying to hit that accurately w/o electronics lmao

Not really farfetch to detect emotion if they can detect emission from the kaijus. We can detect emotion just being in close proximity even if no words are being said. Reading the room so they say.

We can tell the emotion state of someone even if they are speaking a vastly different language.

If, assuming that it is a nuclear bomb, why not just grab that nuclear mortar, is still in US storage somewhere right?

i can get the pulse disabling the electronics of the barracudas but wouldn't the momentum of them just follow through and hit anyway since they were so close when the pulse was emitted. major cop out

Why don't they hit it with a Trident missile? I get it's electromagnetic wave can disable technology but the Trident travels at 18k miles an hour. I seriously doubt it could react in time to that.

Thanks for the upload.

Since the Barracudas were hit by its means of flying, I am ok with that. (Keeping that massive body in the air must cause some real forces)

It's handwaved away by quantum waves, same with the JDAMs. It's a cop out nonetheless, but for plot reasons even those wouldn't have been effective. That's just how it goes in a story.

Can a Super Hornet actually carry 6 JDAMs lol

And yeah they could've used some hypersonic missiles I reckon.

Anyway, great chapter, teared up a little reading her will.

Alright, a new chapter! My thanks to the rubbish bin dog, for he digs up many a great treasures. Handwaves aside, it is getting really intense now. I like how the army has fallen back on more analog warfare. "This is WW1 level!" Yeah. Here's hoping the HOHA works out for them.

Logistics and lack of handlers

As you stated, they have it in storage. Problem is, they now have to bringing to the combat location, have the necessary teams be there, and target it. However, the shells probably aren't working anymore and it would take more time to refit one artillery to fire a nuke artillery than to deploy it on the field.

That is why they should have used the Fatman from Fallout 4.

Nue is big, and every action it executes should require a big amount of energy, couldn't they have just harassed it until it died due to exhaustion?

If the pulse kill the electronics and the system automatically lock the torpedo to just run straight, maybe.
But if the pulse only make the system goes haywire, it’s possible that the mechanism to control the torpedo direction points random direction because of the sudden surge.

And if the engines are also electronic and can be affected, there would also be sudden change of speed, added to the rudders malfunctioning.
