Could be availability.
The official raw website release in parts (make sense, seeing how many pages in each chapters), and only few latest chapters are available. So there will be a gap between what’s currently translated and the new chapters there.
Sure, you can pay coin to read the behind-paywall chapters, but might as well buy the whole book instead, better quality.

Also it’s not in the usual unofficial manga raw “cdn”.

I dont know why you guys thinks Reina is a ghost she's not, yamato just doesn't notice reina fall after running from the avalanche, he think she still with him riding the snow mobile when he looked back he just now notice she's gone.
I think they are speaking telepathically so he think she still there with him

I wonder if anyone suspect that Yamato is a monster magnet. He went on leave then it just happen a monster arrive near him.

Also is it possible she was not herself (possessed or something) cause in Chapter 55 there is a drastic change of character . At first I just thought of it just her suddenly gaining confidence but after reading the latest, I have my suspicions. Plus her brother said it is not her usual self with a commanding voice.

Their father also vanished during a tsunami , what if he did not perished but transported to umi nue since they are descended from ones who worshiped it. What if there are people living on in and for some reason some ended up in ancient Japan. And now since it revealed itself it would claim its people.



Plot twist, she is from the future where her brother died in in last timeline and returned to her past present self but with a price , her existence.

Type 16 is truly one of the most beautiful looking IFVs (or MCV). As for tanks, I like the Type 10 MBT

I hope we see the new Japanese ICV, the Type 24, in this manga.

I imagine it as Cleft Lip that was surgically fixed. Decades ago when there is no effective method in detecting and fixing it prenatal , they can only do surgery and those leave a mark some might mistake as cat lips (especially "free ones" ) . I have seen people like that.

Can't say I like the more supernatural elements introduced in this arc, the 2MC's hearing ability was already a bit of a stretch but the idea of having shamanistic clans with special powers detracts from the more grounded elements that I enjoy from this series.


On a side note, I'd love to see a few .5 chapters about civilian life in this world, and their reactions to the monster aftermaths and the main cast. Do they have wikis, forums, streamers, movies and games about the creatures? Are there monster otakus doing power rankings between the various species? Does Konoe have a fanbase, since she is unofficially the face of the war against the kaiju and has been featured by the media since the very first encounter?

Volumes tend to be higher quality and often have extras and fixes to mistakes from the original publication. It doesn't HAVE to be the volume but if they don't have the time to backtrack when the volume comes out then its a good compromise to just wait for the volume

Type 16 is truly one of the most beautiful looking IFVs (or MCV)

To be honest I think the Rooikat is the best looking wheeled vehicle with an anti-tank gun, the M1128’s narrow crewless turret looks cool too but the bulky amphibious hull loses points. That said, any highly mobile stabilised tank-killer is cool in my books. There’s just something about pulling off an aggressive flank.
