Don't be willing to forgive someone for treating you horribly just because their family. My grandpa was abandoned on the side of the road by his mother when he was six. Later when he was in his 40s she contacted him and he tried to forgive and forget but the only reason she tried to contact him was for money after which he got a restraining order on her and made sure she couldn't contact him again. Some people just don't deserve your love and forgiveness.
