I'm beginning to think that Zelarak is the guy that made the revolve magic we saw in his flashback. Or at least what's left of him. Perhaps he split into the two seperate realms through some kind of dimensional magic. Zelarak is his physical body and has no memories, and the prophet is his soul with all his memories in tact.

So Zealark truly is an interesting case where he is able to completely retain his memories over every loop and it's still not explained why. I mean he doesn't even know himself too. I wonder how the author plans to reveal it! I think the only other individual that can do this is Roland but that's explained by his clairvoyance ability. So I wonder what's so special about Zealark?
