It always makes me feel so bittersweet that despite the comedy, Albus has to forgo the memories he made from optimizing his journey, and you can tell he did enjoy those small detours, because he can look back at them. Poor dude, if he breaks this curse, he definitely should just journey for the heck of it and enjoy himself to truly living the moment.
