Anyways, I imagine the truth is that Fiona has always been the "perfect" vessel for the Demon King...so how do you combat that?

If the resurrection of the Demon King is dependent on the completion of the back-up vessel, he can simply kill Fiona first, prior to killing the Demon King. He might not prefer that option, but will he, eventually, have any choice?

When he had defeated the demon king, the brother was still moving after the demon king's soul left. Why not focus on a max recovery team that can heal the vessel after the demon king's soul leaves? Nearly kill her, then heal her.

An ending where the hero dies so Fiona is set free and get her brother back… I can foresee it and I hate it

feels like he might take in the demon kings soul instead of her brother and he dies with the demon king I hope I am wrong tho
