They should have the same world reversion power that Albus does, considering what the presumed first hero said. However, the fact that they are remembered by history as failures implies that they were not willing to keep looping until they succeeded. Therein lies the question of how far they went before giving up. Maybe we'll learn more about failed heroes in the future.

he will use the side effect of change the world to take the demon king's soul with him out of the timeline and become a wondering ghosts together. It would a bittersweet ending that way. Or somehow transfer the spell on the demon king and kill him on the last loop. But that would less tragic and more happily ever after.

Honestly when i started this i was bummed that there seems to be no romance, it'll be like all the other stories and wanted to quickly read to the latest and forget about it.
Now I'm begging for more. The story and characters are so well done. 👌😩🔥

Interestingly enough, I'm the opposite. When I realized there was no romance I was ecstatic. Most stories I see in this sort of setting are usually just one guy surrounded by girls who adore him.
Overexposure (to harems) has kind of put me off romance in the fantasy genre.

Buuut if you do have any great romances with this premise or just similar I would love to hear them! My 100 tabs is not nearly enough and needs some expanding!

Yeah no, ig none were good enough that I'd remember their name or recommend them, especially the romance aspect. Ig that's to be expected with isekai slop.
Though could be I just haven't read the good ones in while so can't recall them.
