glad we're getting at least a tiny bit of drama with the girl (hopefully) growing curious why MC would (only) invite his grandma to the wedding.

iirc they mutually love each other but think they have no chance with each other? How long will this trope go on for? Literally nothing changes for the worst if they just confess and begin dating, meanwhile we get so many more pros like kissing, hugging and handholding.

He's already been green lit by the parents and younger brother... so why wait and start dating?
as the Light Novel goes, she does not know how Haruto feels about her. Later on when they start to date fr, he identifies that he first noticed his feelings for her during the animal park trip. Haruto is a dense, moron, idiot, blockhead male protagonist (Other characters literally call him a dense blockhead to his face) that he still thinks Ayaka is just being nice to him. Even during the ‘fake lovers’ arc, his dumbass thinks she’s doing all of it because she’s just being nice.

The 2nd half of Volume 2 is dedicated to the “Fake Lovers” arc. The entirety of Volume 3 is the ‘more than friends, less than lovers phase’ with them becoming legit at the end of Volume 3.

So we got a little bit to go. You just got to bear with Haruto being the stereotypical dense moron blockhead protagonist. Ayaka is really forward and Saki (the friend that everyone bemoaned for the advice she gave Ayaka after the movie date) is super supportive

Sorry for the long winded response.

Thank you for the translation!

Ah, parents who make fun of their kids. Sweet, but emotionally scarring. :)
Only slightly ribbing them. Ayaka's folks see her finally showing interest in a guy and they legit want that deal sealed ASAP.

At least, that's what they think right now.
