I hate this line of thinking. :notlikethis:

I get that he doesn't want to affect the world too much by his actions but he's gone WAAAAAY past that point already when he started making and selling weapons. Like wtf did he think his weapons were going to be used for? In the very first chapter, the demon lord and hero couldn't even defeat each other because they were using HIS weapons. He's ALREADY part of the world and making an impact, so why not just relax and put down some roots? :smugnako:
I don't know enough about the novel to talk about his irregularity but you seemed to have misunderstood something. The demon lord and hero's fight in the first chapter is something that happens in the future, he doesn't have that kind of impact yet.

He is actually super concerned about having kids, as he's worried his "bloodline", might be viewed as a foreign element, and eliminated by "the world". And prevents him from intentionally forming any deep relationships, or feeling stable enough to commit to people/places/things. He views himself as a dead man walking.

Manga touches on this very lightly, I'm appreciative mangaka did at all to be fair. But WN spends a few paragraphs/chapters here and there talking about it as a recurring theme. He ends up settling on a platonic family dynamic, even once those "irregularity" concerns are addressed. I commented about this in an earlier chapter with WN quotes/citations.
I'm still waiting for him in the WN to overcome that hump and take responsibility to make some feral kittens. :meguuusad:
oh wow, so that's what's actually happening in the LN. I thought it's one of those modesty and humble stuff they usually put on isekai mcs

You're just going to propose isekai loli marriage like that and walk away without taking responsibility?

For shame! :headpat:

Yes, I know it will happen in the future. But so far we've seen him making a fake heirloom sword that not only was used to elevate his friend to Countship and kill his contender, but also for a mercenary and demon whose swords may have already taken lives; he's already making an impact to the world. If he truly wanted to not change anything in the world, he could have lived a quiet life as a hermit or find a profession that didn't involve making tools of war. His "irregularity" excuse feels damn flimsy.

What is he even basing that on? According to the first chapter, he was brought there by some sort of guardian deity in order to solve an inconsistency, not create it. One can hardly ask for better validation for belonging there than that. Is it just the author milking the concept for cheap drama?

I'm not fan of post release merge of partial chapters... I usually recommend to wait for the next .1 (to make sure every part was released), and then release the merged full chapter.

The novel shows him getting married in the future, but we don't know who his wife is yet.

I saw some discussion about this, so I'll have to put some spoilers here. Heavy Spoilers ahead. Be warned.

At the official EN TL of the LN...

At Vol. 7 where the volume's plot is for Marius' marriage to his female childhood friend (a win for an Osananajimi character, but this is not to the MC so I'm not sure if it counts) , there is an Epilogue chapter titled "The Bride of the Forest". This is laying out, in the future (far? who knows, not specified), Eizo is going to get married to "someone" and how Marius was there and they were referencing Marius' own marriage during their talk.

As indicated, the epilogue was not specific as to who the partner is, but it definitely happen.

So this indicates that Eizo definitely marries "someone". Most likely one from the cast of females around him. Personally, I hope that he finally gets over this little irregularity issue and makes every one happy. What he does on this Epilogue was basically the first ceremony of many... At least that is my hope. I could see Eizo being enough of a romantic to make sure that each girl gets their own individual ceremony of marriage.

Now, IIRC, the LN covers the fact that polygamy isn't out of place in Eizo's current world so there is definitely no issue there. I am a big believer of no losing heroines and the MC (Male or Female otherwise) just needs to buck up and does their best to make sure everyone is happy. Considering how nicely written each heroines are, I would be sad if they are actually anyone "losing".

Sad to say, that so far in the EN TL of the LN, Frederica does not join the Forge Eizo family. However, it seems that Frederica and her family enjoys a close connection to Eizo, receiving a one-of-a-kind Armor made out of Dragon parts from Eizo. In this world, Dragon bodies are maintained by their innate magic and once they are killed, the magic goes away and their body parts become useless. As to how he does it? No idea, it wasn't covered.

Now, to be fair, it wasn't clear as to what the relationship is between Frederica and Eizo. This closeness to her family might be because of marriage, to be completely fair, so the chance isn't 0%. However, from how the TL was done and my own interpretation of it, it seems she married someone else and had a family that grew from it and that is how the future relationship between Frederica's family and Eizo was portrayed (the character who was referencing it basically called Frederica "Grandmother").

The subject of Eizo's future partner (my personal hope is it is partners) is still unclear. There are some changes to the WN to the LN obviously and I'm fairly sure the Manga is following the LN instead of the WN. Whatever the future holds, I can be sure that Eizo eventually does marry someone.

I'm enjoying reading the LN personally. Humu. I like it.

I am personally huffing that hopium hard and praying my personal wishes comes true. Eizo needs to just man up already! Geez~

Thanks for the TL for this chapter!

Right? Even if Kirk and Picard tried to follow the Prime Directive, it didn't stop them from getting laid.

Horrible example, the Prime Directive was only there to get broken basically every time, even when used as an excuse.

I’m gonna go full nerd here for a bit, but the Prime Directive wasn’t just a plot device without substance. Within the context of Star Trek, it was created to prevent humanity from screwing up developing alien cultures by interfering with them or giving them advanced tech. Before it existed, humans were zipping around the Alpha quadrant contaminating the development of other species, because you know, humans gonna human. Kirk didn’t break it very often, Picard almost never did, and when they did (or at least when Picard did) there were severe consequences.
