Surprised at how many people are still interpreting this as a love triangle. I guess people see what they want to see, and what they want to see is a situation to complain about.

What actually happened is that Tomo overheard a tragic backstory that is similar to his own. Both of these guys lost friends over the illusion that they took someone's girl. They suffered from false accusations by emotional nitwits. And because both of them are kind people, it made them feel guilty and put up walls.

Then, Tomo heard his best friend and crush call him out for being dense. Tomo just found out that his jealousy was unjustified. His attempts to put up walls have been hurting people. He's feeling guilty, and that's going to spur more progress!

Honestly, with Tsumugi being closer to Ibuki than Tomo, I've been interpreting a few of his actions/expressions as not jealousy, but frustration on Ibuki's behalf at how dense Tomo is. If he could just push the two of them together and shout "now kiss!" he probably would.

Sorry but I highkey ship Ibuki and the guy. They have way better chemistry together and would make a better couple. Tomo looked better with Akari. Wish they were the main couple. Tomo and Ibuki is boring asf. Hope the author builds on Ibuki and the dude relationship more now. I wouldn't mind a love triangle. Even if Tomo gets NTR'd.
