I'm not sure I love this one anymore. Can't lie, was here for the drama, but this whole brother thing is boring. Like, trying to inject drama into drama boring. The foreground characters were great, no need to keep throwing more background characters into the mix.

Thats always been a serious issue with the Nagi/Hiro dynamic. Its surprising it isnt really brought up more often.

He shouldnt have to beat her in tests to have a shot or start dating. It's always been a toxic situation even if Hiro doesnt mean it to be.

I'm kinda confused. I skipped over a ton of chapters and started with one where mc and girl were expressing they will get married and stuff for real and talked to her dad 20 chapters ago or whatever it was.

Now all of a sudden he's in love with childhood friend and dating? Did I miss something?? I legit thought the people just agreed to get married then next chapter it's all over not mentioned

He decided on Erika, confessed to her, then instantly re-decided and (basically)dumped her and went after Hiro instead/again like a chapter later. It made absolutely no sense.

No one really hates him over this either. Somehow.

And now Ai is making him rethink things...or something.

The mangaka has some serious writing issues, she wasnt this bad when writing 7Witches but...its clear she doesnt really plan stuff out well. At all.

"Wasn't this bad" is an understatement. Yamada-kun is possibly a top 5 ever manga for me, and I can't understand how the same author wrote that and... Well... This

True. I dont think 7W was perfect but it was almost always really fun with likeable characters. Its really the major reason I've forced myself to keep going with this series, trying to find that spark.
