You know, I’m almost starting to think Shiori might actually win this thing.

She went on the aquarium date with Uehara. She confessed first, and Niina still hasn’t.

And this is me being contrarian, but I think Niina’s heroine power is too overwhelming. The fanservice is one thing. But this chapter she turned down the most popular guy in school in front of an audience and ran to Uehara in a princess costume, and she still couldn’t spit her confession out or get a kiss out of it.

Besides if Shiroi gets rejected, then what. She has to hang around with the boy she loves and the beautiful popular girl that got him instead? And have no other friends or options. Like damn that’s a bummer lol.

Confessing first is not an advantage though. That's typically not a good thing because you're likely being used as a stepping stone for development rather than the final endgame. I don't see any universe where she wins anything. I don't think she's really in the game.
