The design of the robot actually reminds me of Akira Toriyama’s art style, so I’m pretty sure this is an homage to Dragonball.

The story's pacing is getting pretty bad, I wouldn't mind 30 pages of SOL fluff but 30 pages for like 6 attack is abysmal. Coupled with how little things progressed last chapter. It doesn't help that panels are big

Going to have to drop this. It has been a while since I've seen a story's pace be this jarring. There's just no way the mangaka has this story's ending planned out.

It's a web novel being adapted. Web novels are meant to be read through rapid pace, even faster than light novels, manga by their nature come quite slowly. If you're too impatient, you can always mark it as 'read later' and come back in a year.

True If not for the context of the janky spirit world arc it would make it extremely honorable alongside its attempt to make the character approach reincarnation like an actual character instead of a self insert.

I'd argue its really more so that the narrative is being stretched out way too much and it comes off like its taking way too long to get anywhere. the inconsequential interactions are taking up as many panels as the actual meat of the thing.

Those weren’t fighting type moves, that was Mega Punch, which is a normal type move.
