So adaptation, same author as Garbage Brave , this one started back in 2022 and have 157 chapters and the LN 3 volumes, there is a translation for the WN but it stopped at 50 a good while ago (technically 56 but paid chapters lol)

Though one thing i noticed is that the WN in syosetu/kakuyomu, or the LN neither the manga official raw site got the genderbend/genderswap/TS or related tags that come with it, so that make me kinda think

edit: so given the tags and after reading WN chapter 1, i can say that this is indeed not a genderbend work, mc just look femenine now and there been a mistranslation, like comic-walker description doesn't say anywhere that is female either, unlike what the MD one make it out to be

As an FYI, the name's correct. Fujii, 藤井, the first character can be read as "tou" like in the common last name "Satou". It's not uncommon for Japanese to play around with their name's readings for user handles or screen names, which is kind of what s/he was implying by the "Katakana name".
