Yeah so my guess was more or less right, the current Kamimori wants to manipulate the current Sougami. That might explain why Niiro's older sister was called a Sougami by him as well - eventually Kamimori will get rid of the ones who don't listen to him.

I never wrote it down, but, yeah, my guess was right too. Kamimori wants to either steal or possess Sougami's body and use Lord Tamakuri's power for himself.

After all, Kamimori is already "a god" of sex and has nearly every woman in town under his thumb; now he just needs Sougami's power, and he will be able to rule all of Japan.

Yes, it seems Kamimori somehow tricked the previous Sougami (the lecherous dude) to possess Niiro's older sister, so he could then kill them more easily.

What I find a bit weak about this premise is that the two families have been doing this for generations, surely the Kamimori we have now is not the first person to have thought up about ruling Japan or the world. The Sougami also seem a bit too compliant - since they're the ones who actually have the Tamakuri power and can even reincarnate, they should be more than capable of fighting back against the Kamimoris.
