The article is a lot longer and there are many that tackled this subject.
Is a mixed bag, at least a 100 people would be needed and many many children from each woman.
I hope is something different than this, or that the woman is the cause of the apocalypse.

Let me know when you get around to disappearing people in a "flash of light", or even being able to invoke the various calamities that befell the Earth in the first chapter.

If it was stated that great explosions rocked the earth and many people died, sure I'd agree that this manga is grounded in our reality's logic. It clearly isn't unless the Book of Revelations was right all along - but that is generally agreed to have yet happened, and I'm not a believer.

The premise of the manga already establishes inexplicable phenomena that doesn't follow our world's normal logic. I don't really understand why you took issue with this prediction though - do you have something against sappy romance? Because that's clearly what this manga is about - a boy and a girl, with nothing left to do on a barren earth other than to "be fruitful and multiply".

I am sorry I gave off the impression of being against them as a couple, I just thought that they would not be satisfied with living in a world where everyone is gone and how the two of them repopulating on their own might not be a straightforward solution.
