What a bullshit father and teacher. When I was a kid, I was involved in a lot of fights, and once I broke my hand in the same way that boy broke his. When I got to the hospital, the doctor knew by looking at the x-ray what kind of trauma was. The bullshit father aside, it was the school obligation to ask the x-ray photos and the diagnostic of the doctor, so they could verify the authenticity of the boy's claims.

If swordsmith is everything he need in life, then why married, bringed a kid into the world and then treat them as something nuisance and wasted your time ? Not even because "I need a successor" because, maybe it's off the screen, but we doesn't seen him teaching his son how to make a sword at all ... that make me kind of wonder what happen with the "masterpiece" katana make him died from heart attack, maybe due to overjoice, it must gather dust in the shelf somewhere

At least Ryouma have his happiness now

I remember reading the reactions of Gods in that world after knowing his past experiences and cursed the Earth god. They're as mad as us

metaldog564 Yeah its just the teachers not wanting to bother or raise a fuss. Clearly its an unfortunately extreme situation but its not like its something we can brush off as "anime only" either. I mean the school system here is pretty shit in its own way so i can definitely see this happening. I mean my own relatives kids go through some pretty disturbing things thanks to the schools. Stuff like being punished for attendance despite having sick notes and explanations for those days or punishing a bullied kid for fighting back because thats the part that they noticed, the escalation.

Schools and teachers should be better, but too often they are not. Seems to only get worse as time goes on. They were have kids walk across the field while others are throwing javelins and other sports equipment recently. Australia if your curious.

In regards to undeserved punishments, as a kid I had ADHD and couldn't hold still and managed to just accidently kick someone whilst sitting cross legged because of shifting positions and got shoved into anger management by a substitute and the principal albeit the actual teacher, the kid who got kicked, and my parents knowledge of not doing it on purpose.
One time issue where literally no one but the substitute thought it was my fault(and it wasn't), and I apparently had "anger issues"

School systems everywhere are pretty damn terrible.

That backstory got too real. Man I really feel bad for the MC. Hopefully this present life remains positive.

That stepping on the kid's hand thing is extremely stupid. Blood on the wall and the lack of blood from the MC's shoe would be enough proof to show what happened, not including the fuss of what the doctor would have asked about what happened and the lack of the other kid's parent not being there.

This needs updated more frequently. I know raws are out up to ch 15 might even be more now I haven't checked . It's a good clean story and I enjoy that being able to step away from the regular Isekai filled with sex and harem stuff.

@Merilirem yeah between bad parenting from the dad, and lazy teachers. it's just all a snowball effect of misfortune. A lot of people had the mentality of "if you can't, teach" which creates a lot of dispassionate teachers that just doing it to have a job. I was fortunate enough to have teachers that at the very least would listen and consider all sides when shit like this happens. But i do know that some people have shitty teachers that don't care about their student outside of studies, and don't bother to do any extra work outside of their class.

I just wanna say 1 thing as no one mention it yet, he nearly killed a robber and they scared of him?
What a stupid mentality.
Here if someone caught a robber red handed we will "pinch in" before the cops arrive and the one that caught the robber should be rewarded.
