I’m being completely serious, I feel like Isekai’s are one of the few Genre’s to show the church in a positive light. Yes it has corruption, but you don’t see the positive aspects shown very often. At least not in my culture anymore. I’m not religious myself, but if you ever done charity work, you know that 90% of the people are usually super religious and they were the sweetest kindest people you’ve ever met.

I used to help this old lady clean the church after I volunteered at a local vegetable garden. And this old lady would clean the whole church by herself. And this is after she spent hours digging potatoes out of the ground. She was 70. And her whole life was dedicated to helping everyone around her.

She was mugged and ended up in the hospital because of the way she looks…. Never saw her again after that.

well the title literally has 'gods' in it as well as him talking to them before so it would be weird if they were too corrupt as opposed to like, humans committing atrocities in their name or so

But they don't seem to directly interfere that much so it's good that he can basically live how he wants lol (tho they could've easily made them 'annoying' and demand tributes like in campfire cooking XD)

Even with, the church is very large. With a couple of slimes as pets, it's unlikely for the cleaning to be significantly easier, I'd reckon.

At worst, Ryouma could just leave them with some basic slimes, and leave it to the nuns on how to evolve them. If that's the case, I'm calling it now, we're gonna get angel porings from Ragnarok Online.
