I have vague memories of dolphins using sound to locate prey and then blowing bubbles from below to disorient them.

Not sure about smaller dolphins, but I think some orcas might. They have so many ways of hunting, including echolocation.

I wouldn't count that as "wind magic," though.

No I think it's about the birds encircle their food, trapping them and then picking them all off. Dolphins do that too and it's called pinwheeling

Isn't "air" just another type/form of fluid? Their movements even use the same nomenclature. So even if it's not exactly the same, they are close enough for the differences to be partially ignored xD

O . o no, not really.

Think of it this way. Most, if not all, of the gasses that make up our atmosphere have liquid form. Just as there is tons of water in the form of moisture suspended in the atmosphere.

Natural wind is more a product of temperature differences over a large area then what gasses it contains. In fact the same effects can be seen in large bodies of water as well. So really in a area of high humidity, a water mage could control the air nearly as well as a wind mage xD
