I mean, is that really so bad? I'm up for it at least. This has always been primarily a hijinks manga, so enjoy the hijinks. It's all just an excuse to have the heroines dress up in increasingly skimpy outfits and get beat up.
Definitely. I don't like characters that don't take "no" or an "L" for an answer. I thought the author actually moved past this but no, we get this random thing and we're right back here again. It makes the "battle" a few chapters ago pointless. If Jeanne wins anything now, I'll be a bit annoyed honesty. Her thing has gotten a bit tired by now. I'd rather we find a new angle for her character.1) fuck tournament arcs
2) If you wanted the finale to be Kanan/Jeanne then just write it that way. Doing this roundabout potential asspull second chance nonsense ends up looking like a cheat even if it was the plan the whole time
3) fuck tournament arcs
Not that this arc isn't stupid and drawn out, but we just had character and relationship growth for Kanan and Kyougi two chapters ago. Which is basically what the plot of this manga boils down to. The story will end when Kanan finally admitts her feelings and we are very slowly getting there.I look forward to the return to more regular slice of life, this entire arc has dragged on for far too long, and there clearly aren't any real stakes since nobody present is gonna give up on the male lead even if they lose.
The whole secret reason behind the competition was already revealed to be some arbitrary scheme that makes little sense, and was already resolved, so it really doesn't have much going for it. It's all just an excuse to have the heroines dress up in increasingly skimpy outfits and get beat up.
This all just feels pointless. No character growth is going to take place. No plot developments are going to happen.
Brother looking for legitimate romantic progress in a gag manga. I appreciate your staunch position.I look forward to the return to more regular slice of life, this entire arc has dragged on for far too long, and there clearly aren't any real stakes since nobody present is gonna give up on the male lead even if they lose.

That's because arcs like these exist for one purpose: fan service.I look forward to the return to more regular slice of life, this entire arc has dragged on for far too long, and there clearly aren't any real stakes since nobody present is gonna give up on the male lead even if they lose.
