If it was most authors would do that, even when a series has a balanced competition between the heroines they choose one or choose none, harem endings basically don't exist because polyamorous relationships are basically a myth outside of mangas that doesn't scream harem ending from chapter one like 100 Girlfriends and Kanojo mo Kanojo.

Now, BokuBen, that's the ultimate copium right there, author was so insecure with the ending that made alternative routes where the protagonist date the other ones.
