What I found in here: There is homosexuality in here, and there is a character here that has only got a total of 2 chapters of time with the MC and she was here 50 chapters+
I don’t like how this turned into a harem after they were already a couple. It just feels like infidelity and the manga wants the reader to like it. The other girls aren’t as cute as Kanan anyway. Jeanne is a literal retard.
It hits all the tropes you'd expect, except that they're different. I'm spoilering this but I'm trying to minimize actual spoilers:
Harem? There's more girls interested in the FMC than the MMC, and there's no question of who he likes. Only one extra girl keeps aiming for him for more than a few chapters, and he makes it clear he prefers the FMC.
Childhood friend? She's apparently the only childhood friend in manga that's legitimately platonic.
Weak MMC? No way, he's assertive and shows his affection toward the FMC openly. He gets dragged into the flow sometimes but hey, he's Japanese.
Family opposition to the relationship? Both the MMC and FMC gain each others' families' approval. Takes a bit of work on his part.
Tsundere FMC? Yeah, but she opens up to him gradually instead of all at once at the end. Which really makes sense since she wasn't planning on having a relationship with the guy in the first place - she was literally going to eat him.
One of the best parts is that the characters aren't annoying (except one of the sisters, but she stops being annoying after her arc). You know how most manga have some antagonist try to stir up trouble every few chapters and it gets old and repetitive? That doesn't happen here. Even the other girl that likes the MMC contributes to the story in a positive way without being a pushover.
Then there's all the little bits of humor slipped in, like the Apple logo with a worm in it, the MMC thinking he's visiting Denmark instead of Hell, the teacher getting caught making out with the FMC's maid, the delinquents... Everyone in the manga is kinda stupid but they're stupid in hilarious ways.
If I had one complaint, it would be that arc where they visited her family runs way too long. But that arc stays relevant since all those characters show up later in the manga.
This manga is a breath of fresh air compared to all the hundreds of nearly-identical romcoms that all follow the same plot.
