"I refuse, it's dangerous"I guess that's good she has some sense (b/c even if she can see spirits can't really stop strong ones or a living serial killer)

feels like he should've at least brought a proper weapon or so , i know it's japan but i feel like a baseball bat would be better than a hammer if not at least call the police as backup or so
Depends on if they can still live normally or if they don't repeat the cycle and just start cannibalism or so

I'm no expert on weapons but I feel like a steel hammer is way more dangerous than a baseball bat despite its smaller range

The whole smell subplot thing reminds me of TMAU (Trimethylaminuria, uncurable genetic condition that makes people smell like rotten fish) mixed with ORS (Olfactory Reference Syndrome). Two very real illnesses that affect the sufferers deeply.

I think it's better he brought a short weapon.

Goblin Slayer taught me that long pointy sticks will get you killed in narrow spaces.

He should have just waited for the police though.

Well even tho he and that other girl disappeared considering one has more experience in kidnapping and killing girls i imagine being untrained is risky too, since Japan isn't like korea (as far as i know) where 'military service' is required for all men or so (but i guess even then it wouldn't necessarily give an advantage as well)
