"stop the train by mistake"? I mean, isn't that button there for an emergency rather than locked off for employees/conductors only , but other than inconveniencing ppl versus that can make a quick stop other than some prankster teens abusing stopping it like pulling a fire alarm, i don't think she'd get in trouble just for pushing it and just saying she missed her last stop or something versus freaking out and stopping it but saying for everyone else to stay still or so

(unless it's more so to 'call' someone if like, ur with an older relative having a heart attack or something?)

A regular stop button would not do anything until the train actually stops at a station, it's really just to give signal to open the door, so I think that might be an actual emergency stop button that the artist drew closer to the girl for convenience sake. But if she pressed that, because it makes the brakes stop the train immediately, it can result in people getting hurt from falling down. And if there is no actual emergency (like fire or madman with a knife), all she would be doing is highly inconveniencing people and whole system of transportation, by making the train be very late. Hence why it's illegal to do it without damn good reason, and no girl is cute enough to get out of it by pretending she panicked over a missed stop.

Given her “ability”(and it being split into two parts prolly not gonna be a happy ending or a plot twist of the bro being obsessed/paranoid to cause other deaths), I can imagine her pressing it might actually cause the death if not some crash anyways and more ppl dying if not annoying someone to snap and still lash out even if no one dies versus being physically assaulted

yeah i can understand getting personally involved if it's a relative like her bro or maybe feeling guilty enough to help a young kid but so many ppl die everyday, it might be easier to just go the opposite direction when you hear the nose if not live in the middle of nowhere to where most ppl wouldn't bother you
