the brother x the president was my original theory before i had begun reading it, but it seems clear-cut to me now that he (the brother) likely has a crush on his black-haired friend from the first chapter. the synopsis' last sentence, combined with his refusal to share his crush, reinforces this suspicion for me. i can see why you're invested in president, but i think it'll be juicy when we eventually get around to unpacking the brother's character.
