Okay I have just read two COMPLETELY DIFFERENT WEB NOVEL VERSIONS of this story. They deviate from each other after the big reveal. I am hella confused, but I'm going for the version that goes on longer. The shorter version is at ellomtl xyz and the other longer version is at noobchan xyz.

Meh, it fizzles out to nothing at the end. The author didn't know how to write a satisfying ending and so just ran away, leaving a right mess behind. If it had been cancelled, then you can somewhat expect a rushed ending, but this just tears it up and throws it as confetti. Really disappointing.

Honestly after reading the comments i felt like maybe author did a bad job with the ending but the story was about revenge only so if he continued a little more to finish romance aspect he have need to do at least 20 more chapters (honestly i would be fine with a kiss or marriage page too but it makes sense like this too bc they r not even a couple. Their relationship starts from here which is full romance story so author choose to close it up).
I can clearly say that ever since i saw this stories start in yutube i tought like "hmm it looks like the cheater senpai doing mc a favor by stealing mc's cheater girlfriend and giving his upgraded girlfriend to him instead", author leaved it to our imagination so it works well to me bc im thinking like literally they got their revenge and now mc got a better girlfriend, who spends time with him anywhere, who becomes happy even when going mountains and popular spots, who doesnt think of their chastity as nothing (treating your body well and thinking of it as important), who has better body, who is better looking, who is cuter and so on. Nice story.

From comments I read the ex becomes a member of the mc harem in vol 3 or 4 starting from vol 2 the series becomes a harem and the manga is based on vol 1 thats why the ending is incomplete
