I like this “popular friend. He has a great way to judge if the girls are superficial or have “ulterior motives”. I also like that how he said it, it kinda means that he might have kept them if they had shared their number with MC too… xD Dude really respect his friend, and is looking only at people that can see him too. :3

I’ve read quite a lot of series with similar plot and the MC always ends up with the girl helping him get closer to his original crush. I’d actually kind of prefer if he somehow ends up with the original girl here, though that’s probably the least likely outcome.

definitely the two girls are, but I wonder if the basketball guy is even interested in either of them in a romantic way

To do with her past she's actually been aware of him for quite a while. I do wonder what was the trigger for her feelings

I agree it sucks it's really silly that they don't have multiple chapters pre-prepared when a series goes live like mamwha are often required to have 20 chapters ready or so at launch.
