Nothing to tell. Even the latest Raws don't explain what truly happened with Reina yet. It's gonna get strung along until the mangaka can figure out what the actual plot is. That's usually the case with an overextended cliffhanger. I can see the mangaka struggling to come up with a storyboard that passes their Editor's sniff test - trying and failing, trying and failing. It's like the current cliffhanger on Aitsu no Kanojo. Literally that mangaka has no idea how to pull the series out from under the axe. These folks usually tend to write/draw themselves into a corner.
What about the LN?
Wait is this manga have different story from the LN?

I am going to call it here, she went with one of those, if pushing doesn't work pull approaches. She treated the MC coldly and then either hired someone or had a friend pass for another guy to try and put a fire under the mc. The MC then was a lot more sensible than most MCs in mangas and had none of it broke it up right then and there.

Things didn't go to plan, and most likely the plan was pushed by Natsuki(the girl in glasses that invites the MC to the party his ex is at on chap 16) she also mentions the MC was a longtime friend of ayaka(even though he doesn't remember talking to her about it at all) which likely means Reina was talking about her insecurity about ayaka with her.

More likely than not they both thought the MC was cheating on Reina with Ayaka.

Maybe wasn't any cheating at all and it was some weird misunderstanding, I mean, who decides to cheat in front of her partner house? Dude didn't say anything about why they are breaking up, so maybe she just thought he got bored of her, or that he decided to leave her and get with his friend, the relationship had problems on both sides and no one is talking to the other about it, so each can have their own headcanon to why they are breaking up
I get the impression that Reina suspected Yuuta was cheating on her with Ayaka when he started getting overworked by his club, but the way she gave him the cold shoulder and called him boring to his face before walking off, that was her trying to hurt him in retaliation for the imagined cheating.

Then the way she was intertwining fingers with that other guy, I'm sorry but you can't tell me that's just a misunderstanding. Sure, in a divorce case that wouldn't be enough to convince a judge, but for many people, even if it isn't full on kissing on the lips or sex, it's still an act of physical affection reserved only for your partner and very close family. So unless that's her brother which she just never happened to talk about till this point, that makes it cheating.

Even if you still don't consider it cheating, just the fact that Reina didn't express her concerns in any way but passive aggressive disinterest and then the way she intentionally hurt him without ever making any attempt to apologize for it is enough reason to dump her in my book. You cannot have a healthy relationship with someone willing to hurt you and then unable to apologize for it if they did so in the heat of the moment, assuming they didn't cross the line into abusive levels of emotional or physical attacks.

Sure, Yuuta could have refused to interrupt their date for his club, made it exceptionally clear that Ayaka is nothing more than a friend, or called her out for cheating the day before and given her a chance to refute it before breaking up with her, but he never intentionally hurt her or did anything that comes even close to cheating. I just don't see a relationship ending problem from Yuuta's side.

Wait seriously? That's how they broke up? He didn't mention anything at all about her holding hands with the dude? Nor did she try to talk to him about why they would break up? Its like MC made assumptions in his mind and declared case closed no more about this topic. I wonder how this part of the story will be resolved, if any one has got info can you fill me in? Also who's will the mc be with in the end?

Also, Also I'm starting to get annoyed by this glasses girl showing up.

This happens all the time in failed relationships, usually it comes down to failures in communication and things just not working out.

Sorry Reina, I don’t know how you could have ever claimed that you didn’t cheat on this guy.

Not just holding hands but holding hands with the fingers interlaced, that’s like 2nd base in Japan, and not a grip you get into by accident. That’s what the MC was greeted with after working hard to make your anniversary date special, and you did it right in front of his house… nice. That combined with her absolutely frigid and insulting performance on their previous date, any guy would think you were fucking around.

You reaped what you sowed, so hit the road.

On an unrelated note I hope uwaki scans keeps scanlating this manga, then we don't need to wait for gd to feel they've earned enough on their patreon.
Hello! No need to hope, we will be continuing the series until it ends. We just wish for the community to get what they want as soon as possible with as much quality as possible! I hope you will all support us in our adventure.

Light Novel adaptation, there's nothing to 'come up with' and 'pass the sniff test', the story beats already exist and are well defined. The novel is already complete even, there's tons of spoilers in the comments of the previous chapters
Which chapters?

About the dude i don't know what the deal was so I gonna wait for answers in the manga

About the relationship it looked like lack of effort in both sides(if we take the manga at face value), in the date she looked depressed the whole time but it didn't looked like he asked her why, neither looked like she tried to talk about what was wrong, she did apologize after the "boring" thing, but they both apologized so I don't know if it counts

About she avoiding him I don't know if she was intentionally trying to hurt him or if there was another motive like trying to process some stuff

In the end neither of them actually tried to figure out what was the problems in the relationship(if the depiction of the manga is accurate, I don't know about novels, so maybe I'm wrong), so dude didn't raise red flags, but he also didn't raise any flag at all.

Is this a light novel thing or are you referring to the "sorry for today" texts they exchanged right after? Cuz I don't really consider that a real apology, just brushing it under the rug. Maybe if she said "sorry about today, I want to talk about it but not through text" so she at least initiated a real conversation or something

the texts, yeah, it also looked weak to me, but we see things on MC POV, so is hard to get her side of the picture and figure out if was malice or just normal romcom dumbness

well, neither of them tried to initiate a real conversation at any point, so i guess it was kinda of expected to everything to go wrong.

Damn, his smile and optimism were GONE. Yuta couldn't even say why he was dumping Reina's ass. Awkward stuff all around. And now Natsuki's back on her shit to tug open that old wound.

It was actually him who said “sorry about today” to her first.

I’d wonder if she would have even said sorry if he hadn’t initiated it first, and he hadn’t even done anything wrong. That “so boring“ comment was just incredibly rude, and she left the guy holding two drinks like an absolute tool as well.

I don’t remember if it has been said before, but Natsuki is Reina’s best friend, right?
